BZT Non-stick Tire Tester

Purpose:
BZT non-stick tire time tester is mainly used for the determination of non-stick tire drying time of “normal temperature marking coating” and “heating marking coating” in GM298 “Road Marking Coating”.

3. Use:
The sample is coated on a glass sheet (200mmX1 50mmx5mm), and painted parallel to the short side of the glass sheet into a strip 80mm wide at the center of the long side. The wet film thickness is 200 u m±20 u m. After coating, press the stopwatch immediately. After 10 minutes, two handheld meter handles roll the meter from the center of the short end of the test board to the other end at a constant speed for 1 s, immediately observe with naked eyes whether the tire of the tester has sticky paint. If there is sticky paint, wipe the tire with a cotton cloth wetted by acetone or methyl ethyl ketone, and repeat the test every 30s until the tire is not sticky. When the stopwatch is stopped, the time is the “non-stick tire time” of the sample.

Note:
1. When rolling the instrument, the handle should be gently held with both hands to avoid any force other than the instrument’s own weight on the paint surface.
2, the instrument should be placed in a cool, dry place to avoid sunlight, so that the tire aging, deformation.
