Overview:
In the process of production of chemical raw materials such as paint, pigment and ink, the use of scraper fineness meter to measure the dispersion of materials is a common method to evaluate the dispersion, and it is one of the standardized methods of quality control. However, in order to obtain consistent dispersion determination results, it is necessary not only to have well-trained and experienced operators, but also to require operating fluctuations between operators to be within the allowable tolerance range. The ADM-III automatic scraper is a new tool to improve the evaluation method of the fineness meter of the scraper. The machine adopts automatic scraper movement to complete the fineness scraper operation, thus avoiding the error caused by the scraper operation between personnel and improving the reaccuracy of the judgment result.

A. Unpack
1. Carefully remove the ADM-III scraper fineness meter and accessories from the box.
2. Check the damage caused by improper handling by the carrier. If there is any damage, please immediately claim from the carrier.
3. Check the packing list.
4. Put the machine on a suitable workbench.
B. Assembly
1. Slide it up and place it on the side of the machine.
2. Install the tool holder, and install the guide rails with the bolts and wrenches in the accessories, as shown in Figure 1.

C, maintenance
1, keep the machine working in a clean environment, the upper part of the scraper can have dust.
2. Add oil once before each use. If you do not need to oil the bearing once a week for a long time, ensure that the oil does not drip off when oiling. The machine can be oiled during operation to ensure that the shaft is oiled both inside and outside.
D, the setting of the strength of the scraper
1, the data on the hexagonal bar indicates how many kilograms of scraper strength.
2. Change the force of the scraper by changing the position of the weight on the hexagonal bar. There are two scales on the hexagonal bar, the small scale corresponds to the small weight, the large scale corresponds to the large weight. When mounting the weight, the upper arrow side of the weight faces the scraper so that the arrow always points in the correct direction.
3, the installation of the weight should be aligned with the slot on the hexagonal rod, only in this way can the weight be stable.
4, the selection of appropriate weights, excessive use will cause machine loss, shorten the service life of the machine.
E. Setting and assembly of scraper height
1. The hexagonal bar must be horizontal when the machine is operating, and the horizontal bubble should be displayed horizontally. As shown in Figure 4, otherwise the force data will be inaccurate.
2. Place the scraper flat on the machine’s workbench.
3. Install the scraper on the tool holder and slide it to enable the scraper to operate on the scraper.
4, gently clockwise turn the scraper lifting handle to 3 o ‘clock position, so that the scraper contact the scraper.
5. Release the lock and turn the adjustment knob of the hex bar until the horizontal bubble above the hex bar is level.
6. Lock the latch.

How to use:
1. ADM-III is suitable for most commercially available grinding machines and scrapers. Scrapers and scrapers can be purchased separately from our company.
2, the height of the scraper must be adjusted by referring to (scraper height setting and assembly).
3, ensure that the slide is in the rear position, the scraper lifting handle is at 9 o ‘clock position.
4. Place the scraper on the machine workbench.
5, please wipe the scraper and scraper with appropriate solvent, make sure that there is no dust or lint on the scraper and scraper.
6. Place a small amount of sample on the path of the scraper.
7. Move the slide and move the scraper to the tested sample.
8, gently turn the scraper lifting handle to 3 o ‘clock direction to ensure that the speed of the scraper is not too fast, so as not to damage the scraper and scraper.
9. Press the Run button and the slide will move forward.
10, when the scraper near the end of the scraper quickly press the Stop button. Turn the scraper lift lever to the 9 o ‘clock position, remove the scraper, and manually move the slide to the rear. If the stop button is not pressed, the machine will run to the limit switch and stop automatically.
11. Read the data on the scraper fineness meter.
12. Clean scraper and scraper.
