je. Introduction

The versatile design of the scrub resistance tester is suitable for various abrasion and wet scrub resistance tests. It is commonly used for scrub resistance testing of interior wall coatings, floor tiles, shower surfaces, and furniture surfaces. Coated or uncoated surfaces require testing their scrub resistance using brushes, sponges, scouring pads, sandpaper, or other methods. Wet scrubbing can be used by adding abrasives or cleaning agents to conduct abrasion resistance tests.

II. Principe du test

1. Driven by a motor, the friction head reciprocates. Simultaneously, the instrument’s movement speed and stroke are adjusted according to different standard test requirements.
2. Different standards require different friction heads, including polyurethane sponges, bristle brushes, etc.. By changing the friction head, different standard requirements can be met, and different forces can be applied.

Scrub Resistance Test:
Simulates manual scrubbing using a brush, éponge, or scouring pad to determine the material surface’s resistance to abrasion and assess the coating’s scratch resistance and color stability.
Supports dry and wet scrubbing modes. In wet scrubbing mode, detergents or abrasives can be added to simulate real-world cleaning scenarios.
Multi-Mode Compatibility:
Changing the scrubbing head expands the test functions, such as solvent resistance (alcool, MEK), scouring pad resistance, and dry eraser resistance, meeting diverse testing needs.
Accelerated Wear Simulation:
High-frequency reciprocating motion (jusqu'à 70 times/minute) accelerates the simulation of long-term wear, quickly verifying material durability.
