1. 概述

2. Basic Principle
When the sample is introduced into the high-temperature cracking furnace, it is oxidized and cracked, and the sulfide therein is quantitatively converted into sulfur dioxide (二氧化硫). The reaction gas is carried by the carrier gas and dehydrated by the membrane dryer before entering the reaction chamber. In the reaction chamber, sulfur dioxide is irradiated by ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength and converted into excited sulfur dioxide (S02*). When S02* transitions to the ground state, it emits photons. The photoelectron signal is received by the photomultiplier tube, amplified by the amplifier, and processed by the computer. It can be converted into an electrical signal proportional to the light intensity. The entire reaction process can be expressed as follows:

Under the conditions, the fluorescence intensity generated in the reaction is proportional to the amount of sulfur dioxide generated, and the amount of sulfur dioxide is proportional to the total sulfur content in the sample. 所以, the total sulfur content in the sample can be determined by measuring the fluorescence intensity. Before analyzing the sample, use a standard sample close to the sample to make a standard sample calibration curve, and then analyze the sample under the same conditions. The program automatically calculates the sulfur content of the sample based on the standard sample calibration curve.
