X-ray fluorescence sulfur analyzer

X-ray fluorescence sulfur analyzer is a kind of test spectrometer based on X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy.

The X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer, or XRF spectrometer, is a fast, non-destructive way to measure matter.

Its principle is to irradiate the oil sample to be analyzed with an X-ray excitation source. After the inner electrons of the sulfur element in the sample are knocked out, the electrons outside the core will transition, and when the excited electrons return to the ground state, the characteristic X-rays of the sulfur element will be emitted. The Detector receives the characteristic X-ray signals of these sulfur elements, and the instrument software system converts them to the corresponding test intensity. The relationship between the characteristic X-ray intensity and the sulfur content is established with the reference material sample, that is, the calibration curve. After establishing calibration curves for different ranges of sulfur content, and then testing unknown samples, sulfur content in petroleum and other liquids can be quickly analyzed.
