The Compass500 portable energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer was used to select 35 standard substances such as river sediment and Marine sediment, and the method of measuring 30 elements in Marine sediment was established. During the Marine investigation, the instrument and method were used to test the deep-sea sediment samples.
