IEC 60695 ball pressure test apparatus is used for testing parts of non-metallic materials for resistance to heat. It is applicable to electrotechnical equipment, its subassemblies and components, and to solid electrical insulating materials except ceramics. Ball Pressure Apparatus is the requirement ball(R2.5mm) and total test force 20N±0.2N ball pressure testing device , pressure level of the state and was placed in the heating chamber on the surface of the test.

In the sample required temperature after 60min+2min/0min, the sample fast (<10S) immersed in 20 ± 5°C water cooling 6min ± 2min, and then removed from the water, measured surface indentation diameter within 3min, then observe the indentation diameter is whether more than 2mm to evaluate the sample in the prescribed temperature heat deformation capacity.
