The application of on-board benchtop energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer Compasss in the field analysis of geochemical exploration
At a drilling site in Hubei Province, a truck-mounted benchtop energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, Compass-500, was used for base metal analysis of cover layer and bedrock samples collected by a portable drill. About 40 drilling samples were prepared and analyzed using energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence Spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry in these samples than in field analysis and laboratory analysis data (mean) of the methods of comparing the results showed that K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu and zinc, Ga, As, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Ba, Pb, Th, such As more than 20 yuan The consistency of element analysis data is good, when the content exceeds 20ug/g, the average relative deviation of other elements is less than 20%. The application research shows that the designed instrument vehicle-mounted scheme is feasible, and the field analysis method is fast and accurate, which is suitable for field drilling, geochemical exploration and other work in urgent need of field data support.
