Plastic fluidity tester

The plastic fluidity tester measures the fluidity of powder or granular plastic by measuring the time it flows out of the funnel. Process performance information is obtained by method A, while Method B is specifically designed for process control during production. Powder flow performance is a very important characteristic of powder coatings, and the fluidity of finished powder is closely related to the specific gravity of powder, particle size distribution, looseness and production technology.

Measurement principle: It is expressed by the time taken for a sample of known mass or volume to flow out of a funnel of specified size.

 

Test method:
Use a closing device to close the funnel outlet, pour (150 1)g test material into the funnel, the test material should be poured along the inner wall of the funnel, to prevent compaction quickly open the closing device, but do not cause vibration, at the same time start timing, when the funnel is empty, that is, from the top of the funnel to see the funnel outlet to stop timing, read the outflow time, accurate to 0.1S
Under the same conditions, the new sample was tested three times. After each test, the residual resin adhering to the inner surface of the funnel was removed
If the material cannot flow out due to static electricity, the appropriate amount of antistatic agent approved by the relevant party should be added for re-testing, and recorded in the test report
