This friction and wear testing machine can perform wear resistance tests on various metal and non-metallic materials (such as nylon and plastics) under various conditions, including sliding friction, rolling friction, combined rolling-sliding friction, and intermittent contact friction. It is used to evaluate the friction mechanism and determine the coefficient of friction.
It can also simulate friction and wear testing on various materials under various operating conditions, including dry friction, wet friction, and abrasive wear. The machine uses a computer control system that displays parameters such as test force, friction torque, friction coefficient, and test time in real time, and can record the coefficient-of-friction curve during the test. Rolling friction tests can be adjusted to achieve different slip rates. The results produced by this machine comply with GB/T12444.2-90 Metal Wear Test Methods—MM Wear Test and GB/T3960-83 Plastic Sliding Friction Coefficient Test Method. Due to its multifunctionality, simple and reliable structure, and ease of use, this machine is widely used in domestic tribology research, as it is the basis for multiple standard test methods and is widely used internationally.
