Product Principle and Application

Sulfide in the water sample is acidified. The generated hydrogen sulfide is carried by the carrier gas (nitrogen) into the absorption bottle/absorption colorimetric tube and absorbed by the absorption solution (zinc acetate-sodium acetate solution or 2% sodium hydroxide solution). The absorbed sulfur ions in the absorption bottle/absorption colorimetric tube are analyzed and determined using the appropriate analytical method.

The Water Sulfide Acidification and Air Blowing Instrument was developed and manufactured in accordance with the latest 2022 national standard for the determination of water sulfide – methylene blue spectrophotometry (typical method). It is required for sample pretreatment for water sulfide determination.

Product Features:

1. Large-capacity reaction flask, capable of processing multiple samples simultaneously.
2. Integrated and distinct hydrochloric acid inlet, gas inlet, and outlet ports prevent interference with operation.
3. Constant-temperature water bath heating with a fast, automatic constant-temperature control system, and manual temperature adjustment.
4. The sample holder and gas distribution system are adjusted by a rotary knob. The sample holder can be raised and lowered, and samples can be mounted from the front for easy operation.
5. The nitrogen flow rate for each sample can be independently adjusted or shut off, and a needle valve gas flowmeter accurately controls and displays total gas consumption.

8. Before acid addition, the instrument automatically starts nitrogen purge, purges at a flow rate of 300 ml/min for 5 minutes, and then shuts off the gas source.
9. After acid addition, the instrument automatically starts nitrogen purge at a flow rate of 300 ml/min, with an automatic stop function after 30 minutes of continuous purge.
