The hardness test pen, also known as Newton pen, was invented by Robet Bosch GmbH in Germany. It is designed to accurately measure and record various hardness (such as hardness of various coatings, hardness of plastic, wood or metal and other material surfaces). The measuring surface can be flat or curved, regardless of size. The instrument is easy to carry and can be pocketed for various occasions. The instrument is equipped with an adjustable pressure spring, the pressure is controlled by the slider, the spring acts on an alloy steel test head, and the slider is fixed by the positioning screw to ensure a constant pressure. Three kinds of springs with different pressure 0-20N(2000G) can be selected, corresponding to the scale engraved on the pen.
