ISO 11640 IULTCS Friction Test Machine “Color fastness test”

1.Principle
A reference wool felt piece is rubbed against one side of the leather sample under pressure, moving back and forth a certain number of times. The degree of staining of the wool felt and the color change of the leather are assessed using a grey scale. Any other visible changes or damage to the leather surface are also reported.
General color fastness test principles should be in accordance with those specified in ISO 105-A01, taking into account that the substrate is leather.

IULTCS Friction Test Machine GA-1209

The IULTCS friction test machine was tested with dyed shoe surface, lining leather, damaged and discolored after friction.The test method is a dry or wet white felt, wrapped in a friction cone surface, and then a reciprocating friction clip on the test bench.
