Equipment Overview:
JM-V type wear tester is manufactured according to GB/T1768 paint film wear resistance test parameters, while taking into account GB/T17657 wood wear resistance test parameters as much as possible, providing a multi-purpose wear resistance test means. It is suitable for testing the wear resistance of various coatings in laboratory, such as deck paint, floor paint, road paint, atbp. It can also be used to test the wear resistance of paper, plastik na plastik, Tela, decorative board, atbp. The instrument is driven by stepping motor, programmable control, and the working parameters and running state of the instrument are displayed by LCD screen. Simple operation, reliable performance, flexible and convenient use. If the user has special requirements for the speed of the grinding wheel when ordering, it can also be met by modifying the programming parameters. Grinding wheels of different materials can also be used for different requirements of tested samples. The wear resistance test of the paint film and the wear resistance test of the wood must use different specifications of the turntable assembly and the grinding wheel, please specify when ordering (can choose “paint configuration”, “wood configuration” o “dual configuration”).

The main principle:
The abrasion meter is to contact two abrasion grinding wheels with a specified distance apart and the specimen template installed on the horizontal rotary plate, and make the central axis of the two grinding wheels and the central axis of the rotary plate not in the same plane. When the turntable rotates, the left abrasive wheel produces friction from the outside to the center of the template surface, while the right abrasive wheel produces friction from the center of the template surface to the outside. When the turntable rotates continuously, a series of intersecting ring friction marks are formed on the surface of the template. By adopting this kind of wear arrangement, all directions of the surface of the template are subjected to friction, avoiding the obvious directional defects of the friction of the wear meter moving reciprocally in one direction, and making the wear evaluation more objective.
The JM-V type wear tester is driven by stepping motor, which avoids the speed change caused by the voltage fluctuation of the power grid, greatly improves the stability of the operating speed of the instrument, and makes the wear evaluation more comparable.
