I. Applicable Standards

The Cleveland Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured by our factory in accordance with GB/T3536-2008 “Petroleum Products – Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point (Cleveland Open Cup Method)”. This instrument is also applicable to JTG E20-2011 “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering”, T0611-2011 “Asphalt Flash Point and Fire Point Test (Cleveland Open Cup Method)”, and international standard ISO2592-2017 “Petroleum and Related Products – Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point (Cleveland Open Cup Method)” and ISTMD 2000, atbp.

II. Applications and Scope of Application

This instrument is suitable for determining the flash point and fire point of viscous petroleum asphalt, coal tar pitch, and liquid petroleum asphalt materials with a flash point above 79℃ using the Cleveland open cup (COC) method to assess construction safety.
