CCQ Consistency Tester

Purpose:
CCQ consistency tester is designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB1749 “Thick paint, putty consistency determination method”. Used for the determination of thick paint or putty consistency.

How it works:
After a certain volume of sample is taken under a fixed pressure for a certain period of time, the consistency of the sample is expressed by the diameter of the flow spread diffusion.

How to use:
1. Place the lower glass plate on a flat test bench, place the pump in the center of the glass, fill the pump with a paint knife and scrape the sample flat. (No space allowed in the sample)
2. Use the pump plug to squeeze out the sample in the pump. (Note that while pressing the pump plug, the pump should be lifted up) Cut the sample on the pump plug with a paint knife and place it in the center of the glass plate.
3. Align the center of the circle of the upper glass plate with the center of the sample, and gently flat on the sample, and then gently place the weight on the center of the upper glass plate, and open the stopwatch at the same time, remove the weight after minutes, observe the scale of the sample on the glass plate and spread on the circle, record its diameter in centimeters, das ist, the test results. (If it is an ellipse, take the average of its long and short axes)

Precautions:
1, the test should be carried out under the conditions of constant temperature and humidity, or under the conditions agreed by the relevant parties.
2, after the test, the glass plate, pump, pump plug should be cleaned with solvent, (do not use metal tools to scrape) into the box, placed in a dry place for next use.
