There are different methods for simulating printing test internationally.
Common measurement methods include

B) The AIC2 – 5 tester simulates printing, controlling ink film parameters to assess ink penetration, surface roughness, and color density of printed results.

C) Advanced testersadjust pressure and speed to mimic various presses, using sensors to record data like friction during ink transfer for issue detection.

Measurements based on ISO 3782 also specify the following calculation methods.

1.1 Test conditions
