How it works:
After the motor is decelerated by the gear, it drives the lifting rod to move up, and the cutting edge generates the lifting force, which makes the asbestos cement board gradually produce small cracks in the specified area and control the slow expansion of cracks. The cracking of the putty layer is observed, so as to characterize the ability of the putty to resist the crack expansion of the substrate.

1. Place the frame on a 200×150 (mm) asbestos cement board. Then the prepared putty is coated and scraped in the mold frame.
2. Take off the frame and put the scraped asbestos cement board in a standard environment for maintenance for 7d. Three test plates should be prepared for each sample.
3. Fix the maintained test card on the table surface of the instrument, start the power switch and then start the lift switch, and the cutting edge will rise slowly.
4. The cutting edge continues to rise slowly. At this time, attention should be paid to the blank area of the asbestos board, when the crack is found, the vertical reading microscope is used to observe and record the crack width at any time until the putty layer cracks. After the stop switch is activated, the cutting edge will no longer rise.
5, record the large width of asbestos cement board cracks before the cracking of the putty layer. Accurate to 0.02mm.
6, start the drop switch, so that the cutting edge back to the original position.
7, loosen the test board clamp nut and pressure plate, take off the test board. Then put in another test plate and repeat the above test steps.
